Pulsar Teases Dual-Sensor Gaming Mouse with True Adjustable Sensor Position

Pulsar seems to be on a bit of a run in 2026, having already shown off a new X5 ergo gaming mouse and launched a new X2F CrazyLight fingertip mouse, but its latest announcement isn't an actual product launch, but rather a peek at what's to come for the brand. According to a new mini-documentary Pulsar published on its YouTube channel, it is working on a gaming mouse platform that would allow for dual sensors.

In the mini-doc, Pulsar explains that "innovation at the mechanical level has reached a realm where humans can no longer keep up," likely referring to the ever-increasing DPI and polling rate increases that we have seen gaming mouse companies brag about. As such, it is developing the dual-sensor system to allow users to better tailor their mouse inputs to their individual needs and movement patterns. The system basically combines sensor data from both sensors and calculates movement based on a pre-determined offset that can be set in software by a user. This theoretically allows the sensor to be placed anywhere on the bottom of the mouse. Read full story
