Pikmin 4 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Dandori Academy coming November 12th

During today’s Nintendo Direct, we got our first look at the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of Pikmin 4. It’s also coming with something called the Dandori Academy.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version of Pikmin 4 will be coming as either an Upgrade Pack for the original game or as a retail version. The Dandori Academy lets you “test your skills by collecting treasure as quickly as possible across a variety of stages, with exams every Friday, Saturday and Sunday”. There’s also online leaderboards, medals to earn and three difficulty levels to master. There are 72 stages in the academy, which will be rolled out over time.

Also in the game, you’ll be able to control Oatchi using voice commands through the system’s built-in microphone. Guess whoever said Nintendogs was coming got the wrong dog.
