Lunar colony-building automation sim The Crust 1.0 arrives with Linux and macOS

The Crust is an automation-driven city builder and colony simulation set on the Moon. It just hit the big 1.0 release and now has Linux and macOS support too. In the age of Proton, it's still nice to see some developers trying out direct-support for the platform. Worth highlighting.

In the game you build above and below the lunar surface, mine and process resources, design production lines, and scale a small outpost into a sprawling industrial colony. Factory automation sits at the centre of the experience, supported by power management, logistics, research, Earth contracts, trading, exploration, and the health, skills, priorities, and morale of the colony's workforce.

From what they said in a press email to GamingOnLinux the single-player story experience should take around 30 hours to complete. There's multiple endings to it and the 1.0 release added quite a number of big new features to it.
